What Insignia may Collect?

Contact details (for example, last name, first name, telephone number, address and email address), limited Personal Data (for example, date of birth or Month and Day of birth).
How is Your Data Collected?
Enrolling in a loyalty programme: When you create an a new or renewal Membership when joining a Loyalty Programme, as and when you purchase or renew a Membership.
Hotel Loyalty Programme activities: When booking a room (if Insignia assists in the booking), Dining and / or Drinking at the Hotel Restaurant or Bar during a stay or while visiting a hotel as an outside guest. Any related requests, disputes or complaints regarding a Hotel.
Mobile Apps: When you join an Insignia managed Hotel Loyalty Programme by way of downloading or the use of Applications provided by Insignia.
How does Insignia use your data? Insignia receives your permission-based data when transacting.
Loyalty Program Membership sales, renewals, and cancelations: Your personal information is shared with nominated Hotel partners in support of them providing you with goods and services, Newsletters and promotional material in relation to your Hotel Loyalty Membership Programme.
Additionally, for other related purposes based on your consent to receive information.
Data Storage: Upon joining a Hotel Loyalty Programme managed by Insignia, your personal data will be collected and stored securely on our serves which are based in Hong Kong, S.A.R China.
By Securely Insignia can confirm and advise of the following: All data is stored in a Microsoft Azure SQL database and PII (Member’s personal information) is stored in an encrypted state using “Always Encrypted” (AEAD_AES_256_CBC_HMAC_SHA_256).
Backups of the SQL database are also encrypted. Management access to the Microsoft Azure SQL database is restricted via Microsoft Azure Multi Factor Authentication. Access to the database is limited by firewall and strong authentication credentials. All communications with the database are encrypted using TLS / SSL (HTTPS).
